Community Impact is a monthly print newspaper that delivers hyper-Iocal news to communities in the Houston Metro area. As an editorial intern, I worked closely with editors and reporters to write news and feature content, from conceptualization to production. This included news and feature stories, news briefs, event calendar, community guides, lifestyle blogs, and social media posts. I covered business and city news, nonprofit organizations, and entertainment. After my internship, I became a freelance reporter.
